"JFP-UN-10 - For the first time in Jazz history a single musical event plays a prominent role in World history!”, Rick DellaRatta and Jazz for Peace perform a Special Jazz at Christmastime Event in Huntington Beach, CA as part of our 10th Anniversary Concert Series.

Huntington Beach, CA – On Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 6:00PM Singer / Pianist / Composer Rick DellaRatta, considered by many to be one of the finest Jazz Artists performing today, will perform a Special Benefit Jazz at Christmastime Event for TEAM 4 ORGANIZATION at La Brique Steakhouse located at 14892 Springdale Avenue in Surf City, Huntington Beach, CA.  There is a $10.00 food or drink minimum per person the day of the show.

The Purpose of TEAM 4 ORGANIZATION' S PROGRAMS is to concentrate on bringing parents, teachers, principals to be involved with the programs to pay closer attention when STUDENTS ASK FOR HELP and to help victims of bullying feel supports, willing to open up and talk about the issue, help build up self-confident, reduce stress, less afraid, continue to graduated and succeed...The programs also to concentrate on helping the victims of bullying to have the opportunity to be more involved with others, events, sessions such as Museum, One-On-One Tutoring, Basketball, Disneyland, Kick-boxing, Gym, etc. For more information please visit www.iaskteam4help.com.

Rick DellaRatta and Jazz for Peace

On September 25, 2002 Jazz pianist and vocalist Rick DellaRatta was invited to lead a band consisting of Israeli, Middle Eastern, European, Asian and American Jazz Musicians in a concert inside the United Nations for an International audience in what is now considered one of the significant cultural events of our time. Rick named this band JAZZ FOR PEACE™ and has since performed over 800 Benefit Concerts to raise funds, publicity and awareness for outstanding organizations in need worldwide. In addition Jazz for Peace performs educational programs bringing music and Jazz back into the schools and donates musical instruments to underprivileged children. Jazz for Peace concerts have featured Rick DellaRatta along with such notable jazz artists as Paquito D’Rivera, Victor Lewis, Lenny White, Eddie Gomez, Dave Valentin, Ray Mantilla, Rick Margitza and many others. Mr. DellaRatta’s Jazz influenced orchestral composition “Permutata” was recently recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra.
